Remembrance 24"x36"
Tuscan Poppies.
November 8 is Remembrance Day for the Fallen men and women who died in military conflicts. After World War I it is said that the fields of Europe bloomed in profusion with wild red poppies. When I was a child I remember wearing paper red poppy boutineers that my Grandmother would buy from Veterans.
This painting is 3/4” deep. The scene continues across the painting edge. This technique of painted edges allow the option of no frame required.
